Frequently Asked questions

Do you offer any type of discount?

A:  Liquid Luck is proudly military owned and operated and therefore will extend a 15% discount to the military member who is booking with us. 

How many bartenders will be available?

 A: The number of bartenders depends on the size of your event. We ensure there's an adequate staff-to-guest ratio to provide efficient and friendly service. 

What areas does Liquid Luck service?

A: Liquid Luck services the greater Des Moines and surrounding areas. If your booking is more than 25 miles from Des Moines, additional fees may apply. 

Are you insured?

A:  Yes, we carry general liability insurance as well as liquor liability. Copies of our insurance can be provided by request. 

Does Liquid Luck offer catering services?

A: Liquid Luck is proud to partner with Aura Restaurant & Lounge who offers full catering services. 

What is your cancelation policy?

 A: 50% of the cost of your event is due upon booking. The remaining 50% is due two weeks prior to your event. If you cancel prior to 45 days of your event, your payment will be fully refunded. Cancelations that occur within 30 days of your event will refund 50% of your deposit. Any cancelations within two weeks in non-refundable. 

Can I rent out your beer truck for a photo shoot?

A:  Absolutely! Please contact us and we will work with you on your stylized photo shoot. 

Can I drive your truck?

A:  No. Unfortunately, our truck is insured only for event staff to operate. 

Can we provide our own alcohol?

A:  Yes. You get to choose the type of event you would like to host. If you would like to purchase your own alcohol and have us serve it, we can do that. 

What happens if there is inclement weather during my outdoor event?

A: We will do everything we can to accommodate your event. If the weather is bad enough to prevent us from catering your event, we can reschedule for a later date that is available at no additional cost to you.
